Tom's love of gardening, started at a young age, from helping out at home to starting his own small business gardening for neighbours at only 15. He then went on to Accrington and Rossendale college to study horticulture level 2.
After this, Tom started at Myerscough college and became the gardener at Northcote Manor, a Michelin starred restaurant and studied level 3 Horticulture. He grew fresh produce for use in the kitchens and maintained the hotel grounds to a high standard. He then won Myerscough apprentice of the year!
After gaining more experience, he then moved to the National Trust (Quarry Bank Mill), where he worked for 5 years nurturing his passion for gardening and landscaping.
